Orders

See your workload from every angle

Day, month, location, vehicle, materials: one dataset, multiple views

You don't plan a Tuesday the same way you plan a month. Catermonkey gives you six calendar perspectives over the same order pipeline so you can answer the question in front of you right now.

  • Week view: time-slotted cards with customer, headcount, and order type
  • Monthly calendar: status-badge rollup with hover previews and click-through modals
  • Location calendar: room occupancy grid for your own venues, auto-populated from order data
  • Vehicle timeline: drag-and-drop scheduling with driver assignment and overlap detection
  • Materials calendar: inventory load bars showing shortages and order-level detail
  • Production overview: prep-list and shopping-list checkboxes in a sortable table

Week view shows orders hour by hour across seven days. You see time slots, customer names, headcount, and order status at a glance. Click any card to open the full order.

Monthly calendar rolls up order counts by status into color-coded badges on each day. Hover a date to preview the day's orders; click to open a modal with the full list, sorted by time.

Location calendar displays your own venues (marked 'own location') in a grid. Each day shows which rooms are occupied, by which orders, and when. If you run a venue or manage multiple event spaces, you know instantly what's free.

Vehicle occupancy lays orders on a timeline for each vehicle, showing departure and return times. Drag bars to adjust schedules; assign drivers directly from the calendar. Overlapping assignments stack vertically so conflicts are visible.

Materials calendar tracks equipment inventory day by day. Each piece of returnable kit shows how many units you own, how many are out, and whether you're short. Click a bar to see which orders hold that item and when it comes back.

Production overview is a table, not a calendar, but it lives here because it answers the same question: what's on the schedule? It lists orders with preparation-list checkboxes, shopping-list status, and packaging assignments so your kitchen can see what needs doing.
