Orders

Import orders from email, PDF, or Excel. No retyping

Copy-paste a customer's email or upload their PDF order and let AI extract the details. Or map columns from Excel if you prefer spreadsheets.

Customers send orders by email, PDF attachment, or their own spreadsheet. You shouldn't have to retype every line. Import the order, fix what's off, and move on.

  • Paste order text or upload a PDF; AI extracts products, quantities, and notes
  • Excel import with column mapping for quantity, product name, location, and line notes
  • Catalogue products matched by name; unknown items created as food-type placeholders
  • Prices pulled from catalogue; new items added at zero for manual pricing
  • Drop straight into the order editor to fix mismatches or adjust details

Your customer emails you a bulleted list, a Word doc attachment, or a scanned PDF. You open it, read it, then click into Catermonkey and type it all again, product names, quantities, delivery notes, room numbers. Wasted time.

Order imports bring that data straight into Catermonkey. Paste the email body or upload the PDF; AI reads it, extracts the products and quantities, matches them to your catalogue, and drops you on the order detail page. You review, fix any odd matches, and confirm. If you prefer Excel, upload the spreadsheet and map the columns, quantity, product name, delivery location, notes, and the rows become order lines.

Products already in your catalogue get their prices pulled in automatically. New items are created on the fly so you can adjust them later. Either way, you're editing, not retyping.
