Not every product belongs in every estimate. Hide items from quote views when they're for internal use only, and export catalogue entries to other locations in your organization.

When you build complex orders, some products are assembly components or back-office entries that don't need to appear on customer-facing quotes. The estimate settings let you mark individual items as hidden from quote views, they still contribute to pricing and production, but won't clutter the document your customer sees.
If you operate multiple locations or brands under one Catermonkey account, the export function pushes a product definition to another tenant in your deployment. Copy a proven recipe, equipment entry, or package to a new site without re-entering allergen data, pricing rules, or ingredient lists. Changes after export remain independent, each location controls its own version.
